Manual Handover Test Systems

Manual Handover Test Systems Below is a sortable table containing our online manual handover test system models. These models have evolved from over 30 years of designing and delivering custom RF test systems. If you can’t find a model that fits your needs, please email your requirements to our test system engineers (jfwengr@jfwindustries.com). JFW does not charge NRE’s and our pricing for custom models is in-line with our catalog models.

The testing of some handheld devices require testing to be done in a shielded testing room. The different communication standards being tested with the handheld need attenuated inside of this shielded room. JFW’s manual handover test systems provide a simple solution for this testing environment by combining our passive rotary attenuators and passive power dividers into a convenient benchtop enclosure. Example block diagrams are listed below the sortable table.

Manual 4 x 1 LC Handover System
The below block diagram is an example of a manual 4 x 1 LC handover test system.  Four different communication standards (i.e Wi_Fi, WiMAX, LTE) can be connected to the four input ports.  Each communication standard can be attenuated to different levels.  The output port containing all four communication standards is then connected to the handheld device.

Manual 3 x 4 LC Handover System
The below block diagram is an example of a manual 3 x 4 LC handover test system.  Three different communication standards (i.e. Wi-Fi, WiMAX, LTE) can be connected to the input ports.  Each communication standard can be attenuated to different levels.  The three communication types are combined together and then split into four signals.  This configuration allows testing of four handheld devices at the same time.

Custom Models
The models listed in the above table showcase some of our standard designs.  However, most of JFW's test system business involves custom designed models.  JFW does not charge NRE's for custom models.  We encourage you to email us your specific requirements (sales@jfwindustries.com).  We will respond with a ROM (rough order of magnitude) quote in 1-2 days.  Please include a block diagram with your request if the test system involves multiple RF components.

Enclosures: Benchtop or 19" rack style enclosures
