Characteristics of Reative Power Dividers/Combiners:
- Reactive Power dividers/combiners can be used to combine several signals or split a single signal.
- From the common port to any of the combiner ports a reactive power divider/combiner has insertion loss. Typical 2-way reactive insertion loss is 3.5dB.
- From one combiner port to another combiner port a reactive power divider/combiner has isolation. Typical reactive isolation is 20dB minimum.
- A reactive power divider/combiner has much lower insertion loss than a resistive power divider/combiner. Example: 2-way reactive = 3dB, 2-way resistive = 6dB
