Fixed Attenuators (73)
Fixed Attenuators
An attenuator is used to decrease the power level of a RF signal. A fixed attenuator is an attenuator that has a single fixed dB value. When purchasing a fixed attenuator you have to specify which dB value you require. Use our dB selection chart to look up your required dB value. A fixed attenuator can also be used to improve VSWR. Our VSWR reduction chart lists reduction levels for several standard dB values.50 Ohm Models

Manually Variable Attenuators (110)
Manually Variable Attenuators
Manually controlled variable attenuators are passive devices that require no external power source to operate. A majority of our models have rotary knobs for manual control. Just turn the knob(s) to set the desired attenuation. We also offer manual attenuators with pushbutton, rocker or toggle switches as the manual controls.50 Ohm Models
- Dual Rotor: step attenuator with two manual knobs
- Single Rotor: step attenuator with one manual knob
- Panel Mounted: 19 inch rack mountable panel models
- Benchtop (enclosure): step attenuator in fully enclosed benchtop enclosure
- Benchtop (L-bracket): step attenuator on benchtop L-bracket
- Pushbutton: step attenuator with pushbutton switches
- Rocker: step attenuator with rocker switches
- Toggle: step attenuator with toggle switches

Programmable Attenuators (80)
Programmable Attenuators
JFW programmable attenuator models are step attenuators that are available with 50 Ohm or 75 Ohm impedance. We offer models with relay (electro-mechanical) or solid-state design. The programmable attenuators can be controlled with TTL, +Vdc or USB. We also offer attenuator assemblies with Ethernet controls.50 Ohm Models

Terminations and Mismatch Loads (86)
Terminations and Mismatch Loads
JFW offers terminations and mismatched loads with 50 Ohm or 75 Ohm impedance. Terminations are used to properly terminate a port matching the system impedance to prevent RF signal reflections. Mismatch loads are a specialized type of termination that purposely mismatches the system impedance to create RF signal reflections. Mismatch loads are often used in test setups for amplifiers to test the ability to handle specific reflected power levels.50 Ohm Models
