Terminations and Mismatch Loads
JFW offers terminations and mismatched loads with 50 Ohm or 75 Ohm impedance. Terminations are used to properly terminate a port matching the system impedance to prevent RF signal reflections. Mismatch loads are a specialized type of termination that purposely mismatches the system impedance to create RF signal reflections. Mismatch loads are often used in test setups for amplifiers to test the ability to handle specific reflected power levels.
